Member Business Lending Certificate

So your members want a business loan for their small firm. You are ready of course, because you know all about lines of credit, letter of credit, term loans on equipment and working capital, business credit cards, business audits and appraisals, Uniform Commercial Code searches, environmental surveys, covenant compliance tracking, Small Business Administration terms and guarantees, USDA Rural Development lending and guarantees, underwriting, participations, risk management, …..

“What?” you say. You don’t! Well, you can, by attending our Member Business Lending certification program.  The Member Business Lending Certificate is designed to provide Texas Credit Union League members with the in-depth knowledge in Member Business Lending for a successful lending career.

·         Complete all Courses reflected in the Course Description and Requirements page. 

·         Up to half of the course credits needed for this certificate can be transferred from a college or other training resource for local credit review.  All transfer courses must directly relate to the study of finance and financial services

o        Official transcripts or documents of completion are required for transfer credit

o        Transfer credit fees will apply

o        You may also transfer any equivalent course from a qualified training resource

·         When you have completed all required courses or transfer credits, complete the Member Business Lending Certificate Worksheet and fax to 303-629-1591.

·         Prepaid fee of $40.00 for Member Business Lending Certificate

CAP, the College Accelerated Program is an educational path offering credit union employees the ability to get college credit through Thomas Edison State College and the American Council of Education.  You may transfer both college credits already earned and earned credits from selected courses towards the completion of Associate and Bachelor of Science Degrees in General Management or Finance.

Only online 15 Week Instructor-Led Courses are eligible for college transfer credit. All other courses are eligible for CFT transfer credit with necessary documentation.
